JESUS FOLLOWER PRAYER GROUP - ARIF WALA PAKISTAN

Faithful Followers of the Lord led by Brother Saul Masih Our Friend and Brother in Christ

There is much going on in the world today but recently God has put upon our hearts to use Gospel One Ministries to be blessing to these dear brothers and sisters in Christ. As God enables us we will also be a blessing to JFPG.
They are not asking but as you will read you will see their need is
evident and we believe it is good soil.
We pray that you will be led to help them as well

Read on and Please
Check out the Videos and Pictures Below

Brother Saul's simple request this past Easter was that we all pray together that the Spirit of God will fall upon Pakistan at the Holy time of year and all year and that thousands and thousands of non-believers will come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. He also asks that we also pray for peace in the world that the uncertainty will stop and the Governments will be able to keep people happy and maintain order throughout the nations

Thursday night communion service before Good Friday was led by Brother Sohail. The Good Friday meeting had been very good and they had more than 200 people in attendance at that meeting. It was an awesome Good Friday service. Those who attended recited 7 words of Jesus Christ which He spoke on the cross. Almost all the people in attendance said prayers to God to get mercy and Grace and receive Jesus. Saturday evening they all went door to door to meet people. Saul truly believes God blesses people through the door to door meetings with the people in the community.

God has given Brother Saul a burden on his heart for those who are known as "slave children". They are called that because they have sold themselves to land owners for food and shelter. They work in a brick kiln and make bricks. Life is very difficult for them.
They are not in prisons but it as though they are because just about 80% of their time is spent working for the landowners. This prevents them from being able to attend school or even enjoy their childhood.

Brother Saul travels to teach in villages where the slave children live. He has a class in which some slave children have been able to attend. He is tirelessly working with slave children for the betterment of their lives. He tells them that regardless of their slave like conditions their souls are free in Jesus Christ. He tells them Jesus loves them and they will not be slaves for their whole lives.
The owner of these slaves is Muslim but God has given Brother Saul favor with him and he has allowed Saul  to do work with his slave Christians with some minor conditions attached.

Quite recently Saul had to go to meet a family of which 2 of the children who were attending school. Unfortunately they left the school and stopped attending. He believes its because the parents want them to go back to work in the fields of the owner.
Saul is constantly meeting with families pf slave children to do whatever he can to help these poor children to save them from the slavery of the brick kiln and land owners.

Prison Outreach

Having begun behind the prison walls, we are blessed to be able to go into jails and prisons with the keys that will set every captive free, the Gospel Of Jesus Christ. We have been blessed to visit LA County Jail, Lompoc Federal Prison California State Prisons at Ironwood , Tehachapi and Chino Prison where we currently minister on a  regular basis.

Since January of 2007 we have been going into California Institute for Men at Chino  on the 2nd Saturday of each month as Gospel One’s night of ministry where we  minister in praise, worship, special music, exhortation, testimony and teaching

We have also ministered at several juvenile youth facilities including Ventura County Correctional, Sylmar, LA Central Juvenile Facility, Challenger Memorial, Camp Scott and others. We look forward to revisiting these facilities whenever the opportunites arise
Gospel One will also continue supporting those who continually visit prisons throughout the state of California and the nation such as Prison Fellowship Ministries, Chaplains Bob and Patsy Mecado and New WIne Church of Fullerton California.

We are blessed and honored to be a part of many of the Mecado Ministries events , their annual prison ministry conferences and  their annual Christmas program which every year gives away thousands of dollars of toys and gifts to hundreds of families and children as God uses the Mecados and various guest ministries to give His greatest gift of Salvation through Jesus Christ. Please keep Bobby and Patsy in prayer as they continue to move forward with their powerful ministry.

Union Rescue Mission

We thank God for this great institution in the heart of L.A's Skidrow district that has provided shelter, hot meals and Christian love for literally millions of men, women and children.

Ourselves having had lives that included living in the streets, we thank God for every opportunity he has given us to minister in song, speak His Word and be a source of encouragement and inspiration to all those who reside there who are using that opportunity to give their hearts to Jesus as they rebuild their lives from the ground up. We enjoy worship, fellowship and ministering there every time we go and look forward to going there on an ongoing and continual basis.

Join with us in prayer for all those who are among the homeless across the nation and around the world and for all those who volunteer their time and efforts to help those who are less fortunate
